For the past few posts, we looked at my wonderful experiences flying into and out of Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. While not the best part of the trip, it did give some great posts!

I got an email from a friend who wondered how all this talk of customer service fit into the overall idea behind Create. Edit. Repeat. The ideas behind CER push the typical notions of an artist and apply to more than just art or design. We create each day and add our own little part to the overall narrative of life.

• A server creates your dining experience.
• A flight attendant creates your traveling experience.
• A barista creates that perfect coffee.
• A teacher creates a story from which you learn new things.

In the end, a true artist does one thing and does it well – you create beauty.
